China’s second largest wind turbines manufacturer maker agreed

China’s second largest wind turbines manufacturer maker agreed to build the windmill generator farms with Turkish real estate developer Agaoglu Group.

It is not clear where the projects will be located. They are expected to be onshore.
Around 60% of the financing for the projects will be provided by China Development Bank, according to sources at Sinovel. No details on the size of the investment were available.
Turkey currently has 1.8GW of installed Horizontal windt turbines capacity and aims to increase this to 20GW by 2023, according to the Global Wind Energy Council.
One of Turkey’s leading real estate developers, Agaoglu is planning to invest $1bn in the wind energy sector, says president Ali Agaoglu.

The merchandise covered by the investigation is steel towers that support the engine and rotor blades for use in wind turbines with electrical wind power generation capacities in excess of 100 kW, according to the MOC.
The anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation came after the US Wind Tower Trade Coalition filed petitions in December 2011, accusing government-subsidized Chinese companies of dumping products in the US market.
