The government supports home wind generator by supplementing the normal electricity

Posted by admin on 二月 24th, 2012

In all, Siemens will supply 90 SWT 2.3 101 turbines for the Korat 1 and Korat 2 projects with the towers and blades coming from China. The customer is Wind Energy Holding Company.

The deal includes delivery and installation. This will begin in the spring with the aim of completing the projects by the end of the year.

Speaking about the deal, Kay Weber, CEO of the Siemens Wind Generators Business Unit APAC said: “The market entry in Thailand proves that our business gains momentum in Asia. We are confident that we will receive more orders in this dynamic region.”

According to the latest Windpower Monthly Windicator, Thailand only has a wind-energy capacity of 5MW. The country has a target of 800MW installed wind capacity by 2022. To reach this goal — and realise its ambition to become south-east Asia’s wind power hub — the country has come up with an incentive regime designed to attract international investors.

The government supports home wind generator by supplementing the normal electricity tariff with 4.5 Baht/kWh ($0.15/kWh) for farms under 50MW and 3.5 Baht/kWh for larger projects.

Can provide a total of 3.6MW wind turbines

This power station is an important part of the British government to vigorously promote “renewable energy projects, located 12 kilometers from the British North Sea surface. Can provide a total of 3.6MW wind turbines, the electrical energy can benefit the local 320,000 families.

In response to the 2020 renewable energy accounted for 20% of the total energy of the objectives of the Union, the United Kingdom does not increase carbon emissions on the basis of the construction of more than 15MW offshore small wind turbines to meet its growing energy needs. The government sector is expected, invested heavily in the construction process will replace the aging power plants, improve the power grid and the establishment of renewable energy projects.

It is understood that, in the face of practical difficulties in the development of rising costs and slower economic growth, many wind generator manufacturers companies are reducing construction time and shorten the supply chain, and install more turbines to improve energy production.

Shirley explains that examples of the benefits of wind energy abound

His words speak volumes about wind power says Shirley. “He closed his eyes and saw a windmill generators outside his home, pulling electricity from the breeze and bringing light to the dark valley.”

Shirley explains that examples of the benefits of wind energy abound. She adds that, according to the Global Wind Energy Council, wind energy in 2009 saved 209 million tons of carbon dioxide, which – corresponds with 21 percent of the 2008 Kyoto targets for countries.

“Wind energy has been the source of over 9 000 jobs in the manufacturing sector in Germany. With 3 000 MW of installed wind energy, about 10 000 new jobs could be created in South Africa. What’s more, the government and Eskom back wind energy development, citing energy security and the creation of jobs as significant benefits.”

But the Global Wind Energy Council warns that closing the emissions gap is a tough task, and that Africa has a long way to go.

“That said, research shows that the ‘green’ revolution has spurred significant growth within the renewable energy sector, and that South Africa’s overall economic growth will increasingly include contributions stemming from the green sector.

“With this in mind, those wanting to become involved in the green energy sector can look forward to an exciting and dynamic career. In particular, jobs in the wind energy sphere are typically multi-faceted and interdisciplinary.”

Silas Zimu, South African CEO of Suzlon, explains that the wind generator sector is well-positioned to deliver both decent employment and energy security. Putting this into perspective, he says that South Africa is gifted with the wind resource potential of nearly 57 000 MW which could be harnessed and converted into electricity.

According to Zimu, 50 jobs are created during construction related to wind related projects, and about 100 permanent jobs are created for operating and maintaining every 100 MW of installed generating capacity.

Importantly, Zimu says all of the jobs are created in the rural areas where wind turbines are typically installed; thus, wind energy contributes to sustainable community development.

7MW the wind turbine generator installation

E. Energy Corporation (the E.ON) announced the latest offshore wind project plan: construction of a 700MW offshore wind farm in the UK Orr Bern (Albourne).

The the Rampion offshore wind generators farm will be away from the Sussex coast 13 – 23 km at the construction, installation location depth of 19-50 meters, covers an area of 167 square kilometers.

E. climate and renewable energy companies with 100% of the wind farm construction and operation of the right.

E. 100-195 units of 3MW and to 7MW the wind turbine generator installation in the wind farm.

Chinese wind turbines makers are hastening their paces

The Lingang offshore wind farm is the second pilot offshore wind power generators project in Shanghai. With an investment of 1.76 billion yuan (279 million US dollars), it will be completed in September 2014.

In its 12th Five-year Plan period (2011-2015), China will accelerate the development of offshore wind power, as the country’s best sites on land have already been taken.

China has up to 750 gigawatts (gw) of exploitable wind resources in the sea, three times that of its land-based wind resources. These offshore wind resources are found off the eastern and southern coasts, near large economic centers with growing demand for power and diminishing supplies of fossil-energy resources.

According to the National Energy Bureau, China will construct 5 gw of offshore wind generator projects by 2015, representing five percent of its total wind installed capacity.

To grab a slice of the promising market, other Chinese wind turbines makers are hastening their paces to develop large-capacity offshore wind turbines. In January, Guodian United Power announced it had produced a 6-mw prototype. Goldwind expects to install a 6-mw prototype in June this year.

Danish wind turbines manufacturer will supply 27 units of its V100-1.8MW

Vestas has secured an order from Datang Hubei Renewable Energy to supply turbines for the Long Ganhu wind farm in the Hubei province of China.

The Danish wind turbines manufacturer will supply 27 units of its V100-1.8MW turbine generator with a total capacity of 48.6MW.

Vestas will be responsible for the delivery, installation supervision and commissioning of the small wind turbines, and the contract also includes a VestasOnline Business SCADA solution as well as a two-year service and maintenance agreement.

The first turbines are scheduled to be delivered in the second quarter of this year.

Vestas said that the V100 turbine is especially developed for low wind sites and designed on the proven 2MW platform.
